Wet Nose Dogs

Philip Ryan
Lead Singer
Born in Florence, SC, Philip Ryan is considered one of the best vocalists around. After a ten-plus-year music career in Nashville, TN, Philip moved back home to South Carolina to pursue a new project, eventually leading to the creation of Wet Nose Dogs in 2018. A powerful singer drenched in soul, Philip's influences include Chris Stapleton, Jonny Lang, Michael McDonald, Brian McKnight, and Whitney Houston.
Max Jenks-Gilbert
Lead Guitar/Background Vocals
Hailing from North Wales, UK, Max is highly regarded and one of the finest guitar players in the Carolinas. Voted Yes Weekly's 'Best Guitarist' in 2018, he has been involved in multiple projects as well as his own solo material. A musical encyclopedia, Max's influences include Eric Clapton, Grateful Dead, John Mayer, Led Zeppelin, Joe Bonamassa, Free, BB King, and Marcus King.


Tyler Potts
Drums
A Florence, SC, native, Tyler Potts is a Wet Nose Dogs fan favorite. A powerhouse drummer with an unmistakable groove, Tyler is an original member of the band dating back to 2018. His previous projects are varied, and his musical favorites include Earth, Wind & Fire, Snarky Puppy, and Anderson .Paak.
Raj Jenkins
Keys
Originally from Harlem, NY, Raj Jenkins is a keyboard wizard. Now residing in Conway, SC, Raj has been a renowned keyboard player for over 20 years. A recent addition to Wet Nose Dogs in 2021, Raj's previous musical projects have included roles in The Mint and BeyondMars. A highly versatile musician, Raj's influences include Miles Davis, Quincy Jones, John Patitucci, Chick Corea, Victor Wooten, and Dave Weckl.


Scott Roberts
Bass
A native of Hartsville, SC, Scott Roberts is a master of all things bass. A musician of 23 years and owner/operator of Carolina Fretworks in Hartsville, SC, Scott is the newest addition to Wet Nose Dogs, joining the band full-time in 2022. A prominent local musician, Scott's previous work has included stints in the Rob Brown Combo, Skymonk, and The Lizardmen. His musical influences include Queen, John Deacon, John Prine, and Jaco Pastorius.
